My eyelashes have been a bane of my life for quite some time. Naturally, I have lashes that are uneven in length, are brittle, irregularly spaced, straight and frankly quite spindly - Spiders legs as I generally refer to them. Their lack of elegance and volume is something that has frustrated me for many years and something that I thought I would be stuck with, until I began using lash conditioner.

Reveal Your Inner Glow
Being a big fan of lipsticks, I was really excited when I received the new Dr Hauschka lipstick collection to trial prior to their forthcoming release. I am not often sent products to try before they are made available to the general public and so the opportunity to play with all of them was fantastic!

Do Throw It Away!
Eco Disposables
Maintaining good standards of hygiene is vital for any Make-up Artist and is something that I am very conscious of when doing make-ups. By using the applicators contained in lip gloss and mascara tubes on any number of times and on any number different people (an process commonly known amongst make-up professionals as double dipping), viruses and bacteria can be transferred from one person to another, however cross-infection and cross-contamination can easily be avoided by simply using disposable brushes.

Tools of the Trade
I love make-up brushes. OK, I actually have a brush obsession.
My eclectic and somewhat extensive collection of make-up brushes is something I have built up over many years and I believe brushes are a very personal thing (call me picky, but I won't let anyone else use mine). A brush that works for one person won't necessarily work as well for another and the tools you use will impact on how your work looks. You can do superb make-ups with pretty rubbish make-up products however, use a poor quality brush and you won't necessarily get good results; fluffy heads, excessive shedding and flimsy handles all being common problems with poor quality brushes.
