Top Five: (Not Quite) Nude Nails
After all the glitter and intense colour of the winter, spring 2013 brings a more natural vibe - nearly nudes. Creams, beiges, soft pinks and taupes were all seen on the runways this season, so if you want a little more than the traditional nude nail colours, why not try one of these...?

UNE, Deux, Trois
Way back in the long forgotten summer I worked on a couple of weddings; whilst still being on maternity leave, they were an ideal way of working whilst not being away from the little one for any real length of time - short working days are not a common feature of filming! During these make-ups, one product was used time and time with great results...

All Consuming
As I have said before, on the whole, being a Make-up Artist is neither the most ethical or ecologically sound profession. Setting aside everything with regards to toxic ingredients in products, the animal testing debates and brand ownership issues (to name but a few), Make-up Artistry is just not green.

Like Buses...
With the dark winter days leave us hankering for a little sun to kiss our faces, thoughts turn to ways to add a little colour to the skin. In a Bronzer post last summer, I wrote about my frustrations of finding a natural or organic bronzers on the market that I actually liked, however I now have to eat my words as, like buses; two come along at once!

Top Five: Reading Matter
I am often asked where to start when it comes to knowing and understanding more about the toxic ingredients that sadly make up a large proportion of the ingredients in the majority of beauty products available on the market - I just read some books and did some googling. Simple right?
