SENSITIVE Skinned

A few months ago I wrote about the differences between BB and CC creams and more recently shared my favourite organic version of the latter. In this post it's all about the former, an item that graced my holiday bag and has seen me (burn and shine-free) through the summer days...

alva Sensitive BB Cream
This was one of my personal go-to products of summer 2013.

In true BB style this is a multipurpose product that provides an SPF20 whilst smoothing the skin and minimising the appearance of blemishes and minor imperfections. alva SENSITIVE leaves the skin with a flattering matte, velvety texture, whilst still managing to give the soft glow the BB's are known for.

Easy to apply and blend it has a fluid consistency with minute spheres of colour suspended in the liquid which burst (I use this term loosely) on application. Initially the cream appears very light even on fair skins, however I have found the colour tends to warm up a little after a time. Currently available in just one shade, alva will shortly be releasing a medium toned BB cream, so look out for this soon.

The first BB cream to be certified organic (ECOCERT), alva SENSITIVE is 100% natural, vegan and of course, animal friendly.

alva is a multi award wining brand and the SENSITIVE BB cream is not letting the side down. in its relatively short life it has already been voted as the best tinted moisturiser in The Green Parent Natural Beauty Awards 2013 and just last week won the Best BB Cream/Primer category in the Janey Loves Platinum Awards.

Priced at £30.00 for a 30ml tube, alva SENSITIVE is available in all good health food stores.
