With Abundance

A product that has become more prominent in my kit over the past year is cream blusher. Until reasonably recently good cream blushers were a little thin on the ground but now there is a myriad of creamy products to choose from and this is one of them...

Kjaer Weis Cream Blush in Abundance

Inspired by and created with a twist on old Hollywood cinema, Abundance is a beautiful plum toned taupe with a slight irridecent finish. Designed to give a crisp, modern finish to your make-up, it creates a beautiful soft glow that has an almost sculpting effect on the face when applied beneath the apple of the cheek or the cheekbone.

Abundance like all of the Kjaer Weis cream blushers blends beautifully with a light touch and applies equally well with a finger or synthetic brush (my cream blusher brush of choice is the LY34 from Louise Young Cosmetics).

Once applied and blended out Abundance has an almost bronzey peach appearance but the more the colour is built up or the less blended it is, the plummier the colour is. The shimmer isn't too much and gives a natural glow rather than a glitter effect. I love the natural shadow effect that Abundance creates on fairer skins (with that hint of un-shadow like shimmer of course) and I can't wait to see how it works on darker skin tones.

Definitely at the luxury end of the market, the blush is priced at £38.00 with the beautiful compact and £19.00 for the refill, both from Naturisimo.

I love Kjaer Weis cosmetics and have included them in previous posts; Purple Haze, Behind The Brand and Christmas Countdown, so why not check them out too?

    1. Hi Lara
Thanks for commenting. I know what you mean, it can be so frustrating when you can't see what products are like in the flesh. Space NK used to sell them but stopped last year sadly. It my be worth contacting them directly to see if they can send you samples - not sure if they would but worth a try.
Content have a great range of organic make-up to try in store. Although they don't sell KW, they have other lovelies such as Ilia and W3ll People :)
      All the best

    1. Hi
It is an excellent brand - one of my favourites for sure (and Italy is my favourite country :). I love all the blushes I have used - only Sun Touched and Joyful to try. Let me know what you think when you try them
