Bright, bold lips of all colours are a key look this spring. There is such a beautiful spectrum of natural and organic lipsticks out there now that I really couldn't decide which colours to pick, so plumped for the vibrant fuchsia pinks.
My Top Five pink pops of colour are...
Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics (OCC) Lip Tar* - Yaoi
Part of the beautiful new Metallurgy collection, Yaoi is a stunning electric pink (for Lip Tar addicts, similar to Anime), infused with high-res metallic pigments, which gives it a reflective, high shimmer finish.
£9.95 from cutECOsmetics
Ilia - Neon Angel
A shocking magenta pink shade that certainly packs a punch! Ilia lipsticks are super creamy and feel nourishing on the lip - build it up for more of a colour hit.
£20.00 from Content
Organic Glam - Fuchsia
This to me is a grown-up fuchsia pink. The image doesn't do it justice but it is a classic, refined shade, a descriminating and elegant shade. The sort of shade that wouldn't look out of place on Bond Street...
£17.95 from The Organic Pharmacy
Couleur Caramel - Raspberry (206)
I adore these lipsticks and this vivid pink with a hint of a pearly finish is beautiful. Though sadly not sold in the UK (as yet), these long lasting and highly moisturising lipsticks are a firm favourite of Make-up Artists on the continent.
£11.00 (plus shipping and taxes) from Monde Bio
Bite Beauty - Pastille Violet
This show-stopping pink is truly fabulous and the colour payoff superb. Richly creamy and full of vitamins and antioxidants to help combat fine lines, all that and with a name inspired by french sweets - oh la la!
Approx £16.00 from Sephora
*OCC Lip Tars, for those not familiar, are a fabulous hybrid; combining the longevity of a lipstick with the application of a gloss, are vegan, cruelty-free and of course, devoid of Parabens and other nasty chemicals.
