Now December is underway, I can now turn my thoughts to Christmas. As someone who is mightily antagonised by the appearance of crackers and christmas puddings in the shops before the arrival of the twelfth month, I make a point of not thinking about it until then.
Don't get me wrong, I am no Ebenezer Scrooge - I love christmas! I just don't want to think about it before the last fuse has been lit on my fireworks and certainly not before August bank holiday is over!
Each year eco brands outdo themselves putting together bigger and better gift sets in the run up to Christmas and there are already a number of make-up and skincare packs which have caught my eye. I am a big believer in giving beauty items as gifts as I think most people just buy the products they need (all too rightly) and rarely splash out on that luxury treat.
The blogosphere has been jam packed some great natural and organic skincare gift guides this year, so I am going to eschew sharing my thoughts on that particular area of present purchasing and focus on (what is the purpose of this blog) - make-up.
Here are my Top Five luxury make-up christmas gift ideas... (fingers crossed at at least one or two make it into my stocking)
Ilia Beauty Exclusive Smokey Eye Kit (£55.00)
Exclusive to Naturisimo, the Smokey Eye Kit is worth £65.00 and contains three fabulous full-sized Ilia products to create a beautiful, deep smokey eye. You Spin Me Around is a super soft cream eyeshadow crayon in metallic gunmetal grey and Rebel Rebel pure black eyeliner are both are easily bendable and can be built up to create intense coverage; top them off with a few lashings of the inky Nightfall Mascara which add length and definition whilst conditioning the lashes.
W3ll People Contour Kit (£36.00)
You needn't be a fan of heavily contoured skin to be excited about this little box set from W3ll People. Containing the universal, skin adapting Bio Bronzer to add shade and definition and the Bio Brightener to highlight and help create a healthy, youthful glow. Purchased individually this duo would cost nearly £55.00, so it's definitely worth the initial extra spend!
RMS Beauty Glowing Skin Gift Set (£55.00)
Put together by the Content Team, RMS Beauty Glowing Skin Gift Set is another option for those of you who like a little contouring and combines two of the best sellers in the RMS stable. Give your skin a sunkissed glow with Buriti Bronzer whilst Living Luminizer brightens and adds highlight; these little pots complement each other perfectly and are a great gift for those who want sheer, barely there definition.
