Bookshelf: The Little Green Book Of Beauty by Sarah Callard

I recently re-read this book after discovering it on a recent sort out of my make-up books and remembered how great a little book it is.

The Little Green Book of Beauty: 250 Tips For An Eco Lifestyle by Sarah Callard

From ethical issues such as animal testing to practical advice with regards to travelling. From de-coding the ingredients on the back of the tube to a DIY marble massage (I still have to try this one); This little book is packed full of bite sized chunks of information on beauty and wellbeing.

Maybe not a read for the more seasoned beauty eco-warrior, but it is certainly a good start for anyone who is considering cleaning up their beauty regime. It would also make a great intro for teens making their first forays into the world of eco-beauty.

The mere 128 pages are clear and concise making it a great (and not particularly taxing) bath-time read and although it doesn't fill all the gaps, it certainly whets the appetite for further non-toxic reading...

Priced at a pocket money friendly £6.99, TLGBOB is available online from (dare I say it) Amazon and The Nutri Centre
