Muse by Intensae

If you follow my other Instagram feed @eyeslikepandas (general life and make-up pics rather than organic specific ones) then you will have had a sneak preview of my new found nail love a couple of weeks ago. If you don't then here we go...

I'm not usually a fan of gold but this one really has captured my heart. With Flakes of irregularly formed gold glitter suspended in a clear polish, Muse is an eye catching polish which gives a multi dimensional, textured and definitely imperfect finish.

The perfect choice for the Christmas and party season, Muse looks great either layered over other shades or worn on a bare nail. One coat gives a (relatively) subtle finish but build up to three and you get a near full coverage glitterball effect on the nail. To show you what I mean, in the image below each nail has either one, two, three, four or five coats on it..

The Intensae polishes are all inspired by fascinating women or the world and Muse is no exception; the inspiration being Donatello Versace and as with the lady herself, the gold flakes are intriguing. The seemingly simple flat gold flakes at times take on another personality; depending on the angle and light the flakes appear to change colour, flitting between old or antique and rose gold. 

The finish is long lasting and hard wearing and if you are a little lax when it comes to nailpolish removal, this is definitely one that can get quite worn before it is noticeable... Just don't tell anyone I told you though ;)
