Chocolatey Treats

We may have only just finished getting through the christmas leftovers but believe it or not, Easter now upon us... Yikes!!

Fun and frivolous. This year I have decided to take a lighthearted look at make-up and put together a compilation of my favourite chocolate themed products that may admittedly not help your wallet, but will most definitely help your waistline.

Here are my chocolate inspired pickings...

Hot Chocolate Lipstick from Essential Care by Odylique

Creamy and indulgent and best of all it's sugar-free!! This vegetarian (and beetle) friendly lipstick is moisturising and conditioning, not to mention rich in milky chocolate-y colour. Packed full of organic plant oils and butters and fairly traded Shea butter, it's not only good for your waistline...

£18.00 from Odylique      -     www.odylique.co.uk

Chocolate brown Eyeshadow from Lavera

Organic Argan oil, Shea butter and coconut oil blend to create a smooth and creamy texture to this lightly shimmering chocolate brown shadow.  Whether you apply it with a damp brush as an eyeliner, add definition to you socket line or create a softly smokey eye, this shadow suits pretty much everybody.

£10.50 from So Organic     -     www.lavera.co.uk

Chocolate Lip Balm from Hurraw!

I can't keep away from these I know but the rich, chocolatey scent is to die for! Raw, unsweetened Balinese cacao is combined with Seed and nut oils to create a highly moisturising and vegan friendly chocolate-y treat.

£3.99 from Content     -     www.hurrawbalm.com
Blueberry & Dark Chocolate Revitalising Lip Balm from Burt's Bees

Dark choclate and blueberries are both known for their antioxidant properties so why not give yourself a double hit and combine them? A richly creamy balm that leaves your lips feeling soft, smooth and thoroughly revitalised!

£3.69 from Boots     -     www.burtsbees.co.uk
Chocolate Nail Polish from Benecos

Get an intense chocolate experience with this saucy little number. A rich brown polish that is free from toluene, camphor, formaldehyde, clolphony and phthalates and is vegan friendly. Who said chocolate wasn't good for you..?

£6.95 from Pravera      -       www.benecos.co.uk
Streetwise Coco Spritz from Orico London

Get an all day cocoa boost with this refreshing and hydrating facial spritz. Use it to set make-up or just freshen up throughout the day, it's packed full of antioxidant goodness.

If you are in the mood for a bit of the real thing, then here is my completely un-make-up related tip for easter (or anytime)... ;)

If you happen to be visiting Sicily in the near future then make sure you pop into the pretty Baroque town of Modica in the South East for a bar or three of their famous Glass Chocolate - it's pretty amazing stuff! Whilst your there, could you pick me up a supply too?

Have a great Easter
