I currently have my eye on these two brushes from the doyenne of green beauty Rose-Marie Swift. I had a sneak preview (I've been waiting for their official launch to share the love) of the duo during a recent masterclass and product launch at Content in London's Marylebone - they look and feel fantastic and I fell in love!
The two face brushes are beautifully designed and exquisite to look at. Both are made from vegan and animal friendly synthetic bristles and have a lightweight handle and ferrule.
The Skin2Skin Foundation Brush (pictured above) is an intricately designed brush with densely packed, varying length bristles that form a spiral pattern. I like to buff in a base after application and this clever design means that the bristles are thicker towards the base of the brush so you can easily work the product into all of the nooks and crannies on the face for a flawless blend and finish. Although principally a foundation brush, the synthetic bristles would make for easy application for most cream products which require a good blend such as bronzer, blush or even cream shadow.
The more traditionally designed Skin2Skin Blush Brush is a dual fibre brush that has been created in oder to give an airbrushed finish to cream blush applications. The bristles pick up just the right amount of colour from the pot (technically of Lip2Cheek) and press it into the skin without moving the existing base product. I have as yet to try this brush out on other cream products but will definitely be interested to see how it performs.
The brushes are priced at £30.00 and £29.00 respectively and are available from Content.
