A couple of weeks ago I was shooting an advertising campaign at Heathrow Airport Terminal 5. During the shoot I was responsible for the hair and make-up and grooming of the two models involved and the brief was to create two looks; the first was casual and relaxed and the second, a polished professional look.
With time very much against us thanks to the incredible length of time it took to get me and my (heavily condensed) kit through security (this is a long story), I decided to use the same blush for both looks and just build up as I needed too when we changed the looks.
A make-up continuity shot - hence the unflattering image |
In the pot the colour looks quite strong however as with most mineral blushers it goes on fairly sheerly and can be built up as required. Applied with an LY49 Small Powder Brush*, Blaze went on and blended easily to produce a lovely sheer wash of colour which was both flattering and understated and a perfect choice for the looks I was creating.
*The bristles of the LY49 are long and loosely packed and so mineral powder will not go on as heavily as it would if I was using a Kabuki or more densely packed brush.
Priced at £10.99 for a 10ml sifter jar (containing approximately 3.5g of product) and available from Earthnicity.
