A while ago I was kindly gifted this eyeshadow by Essential Care and it was quickly incorporated into my shadow palette. 

Gold is a light to mid peachy toned gold with a beautifully soft sheen - there is not one hint of glitter or larger mineral particles. It a totally wearable shade that can be applied to the lids as a wash of colour for a natural, understated eye, alternatively it can be used as a highlighter and worn on the brow bone or added to the centre of the lid for added interest/detail on a stronger eye make-up. 

On initial application the colour payoff is pretty good for a natural eyeshadow and the velvety smooth formulation blends so easily, giving a lovely even finish. This shadow looks great on everyone I have applied it to so far. Recently I have been using this particular shadow a lot on darker skin tones and it looks utterly fabulous!

As with all Essential Care eyeshadows, Gold is certified organic by the Soil Association who have one of the most stringent standards for certification. Formulated purely from mineral colours, plant oils, the shadow is free from fillers, bismuth oxychloride, fragrance and the most common irritants found in cosmetics, making it ideal for sensitive skins. Relying on ingredients such as Jojoba and coconut oils as supposed to silk powder to give the creamy texture, it is also vegan friendly.
