Organic Beauty Weekend

Part of the Small Changes, Big Difference campaign, Organic Beauty Weekend is a nationwide health and beauty event organised by the Soil Association as part of their annual Organic September celebrations.

Launched by the Soil Associations Policy Director Peter Melchet at the Organic and Natural beauty Show in June, the aim of the weekend is to raise awareness of the benefits of using organic beauty and health care products.

Organic beauty Weekend is taking place on the 7th and 8th September 2013 and it is an ideal opportunity to find out more about the products we use, certification and much, much more. Many retailers are offering customers the chance to try new products and receive special offers so check out your favourite companies to see if they are involved.

I will be doing my piece for Organic Beauty Weekend and collaborating with Essential Care (who happen to know a thing or two about organic make-up and skincare) and although I'm not going to reveal any more at the moment, just keep an eye on their website over the weekend and all will become clear.

Essential Care will also be hosting an online twitter chat at 7pm on Thursday 5th September and I will be part of a team of beauty experts offering tips and advice on all things make-up and skin care related.

Aimed at Journalists, Beauty Bloggers (green or otherwise) and organic beauty enthusiasts alike, this is an ideal opportunity to ask anything you wanted to know about organic make-up and beauty. So get tweeting and send your questions to @EssentialCareUK and add #OrganicBeauty.

If you don't fancy getting in touch but are still interested then watch out for the #OrganicBeauty hash tags and follow the chatter. Personally I can't think of a better way to kick off Organic Beauty Weekend!

Remember. Regardless of whether you are a business or a consumer, you can all still get involved. For further information about how you can take part in the Organic Beauty Weekend and the Small Changes, Big Difference Campaign or indeed about all things organic, go to the Soil Association website.
